Our Story Began at Home
In 2025, after years of working in Artificial Intelligence and raising two curious children, I found myself facing a challenge familiar to many parents.
“Daddy, why is the sky blue?”
“How do airplanes fly?”
“What happens to the stars during the day?”
I loved every question.
But between work, meetings, teaching, and daily responsibilities, I wasn’t always able to stop and give the thoughtful answer they deserved.
That simple problem became the inspiration behind Buddy.

We wanted to create a safe AI companion that helps children learn, imagine, ask questions, and explore the world through conversation.

Meet the Founder
My name is Elie Fares.
I am a father of two children, a PhD in Computer Science, and a Professor specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering.
After spending years building intelligent systems, I wanted to create something that would help children learn while giving parents peace of mind.
That vision became Buddy.
